Our Mission
Our mission is to support and equip foster, adoptive and kinship parents in the Raleigh-Durham Area, mobilize and share awareness with local churches and the community, and advocate for vulnerable children. We don't believe everyone is called to foster or adopt, but we do believe that everyone can do something.
Our Vision
We envision a future where more parents are equipped with trauma-informed training and support, ensuring they feel empowered in their roles. Shockingly, 50% of foster parents leave within the first year, primarily due to insufficient support systems. Additionally, approximately 10% of adoptions face disruption between placement and finalization, while about 3% fail after finalization. Our goal is to create lasting stability for children, minimizing the need for them to transition between homes and allowing them to thrive in nurturing and supportive environments.
